Greetings South Carolina!
This is Rachel Haynie! This is my first blog post. I intend to write about local arts and cultural events here in the Midlands. Please read and leave a comment!

Susan Lenz is helping me establish this blog. She's been blogging at Art in Stitches since August 2006. She is excited to have a piece going to Artfields in Lake City from April 18 - 28th. I will be featuring as many of the Midland artists accepted into this prestigious competition as possible here on my new blog!
Thanks so much for sharing my work!

Congrats on getting your blog up and going - starting mine was one of my better ideas! Love Susan's work - as always - grin!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope you will put Fairfield County on your list of places to visit. The 145 Club in Winnsboro has some really inspired music programming, Blackstock has an on-going bluegrass jam every Friday night, Dru Blair is starting an art college and people from around the world come already, plus other wonderful artists, and Arts on the Ridge is coming up in Ridgeway, the first weekend in May. Will bookmark your site. Good luck to you! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda, for your kind overture. I know about Arts on the Ridge but do not know - would like to know - about Dru Blair's art college and the 145 Club in Winnsboro. Please email me at haynie.rachel@gmail.com.

Susan set up my first blog many years ago. It has gone through changes over time but it remains an important part of my life. Your blog looks great and I hope to see great things as time marches on.
